Shooting Ice becomes tiring after a while. Careful focusing with an adapted macro lens is painstakingly slow. The ensuing back ache becomes troubling and I found myself wanting to shoot something more relaxing.
That’s when I noticed these shadows. Funny I never noticed them before. I got my children to sit there.
I just had enough time to take 2 photographs, before they ran away. Children are so impatient!
Totally bored and with nothing else coming to mind, I decided to freeze some water and try out a little macrophotography.
The patterns found are interesting.
Unlike most photo enthusiasts, I don’t get much time to go out and shoot. My photography is thus, confined to my home and workplace. Interesting things do happen here. But rarely anything spectacular.
Given these limits , what better subject to shoot than my own children.
I have wanted to start a blog for some time. I created this wordpress account 3 years ago. This is my first post ! Can you believe that ?
This will primarily be a photography blog. I hope to post what i capture, periodically.
Being constrained by a busy 9 hour job, and living in a place not exactly conducive to photography, capturing these fleeting moments is a luxury, for which i seldom find time.
To make things easier for me, I will try to keep this blog updated weekly. In due time, I hope to do some user reviews on equipment I own – cameras, vintage lenses etc.
Until next time then……………….
